This kit is tailored for our delivery drivers out there: the big battery and small motor gives you all you need to get around most cities without breaking a sweat, and can provide you with up to 4 hours of riding on a single charge. The 250w rear hub motor can reach a top speed of about 23mph, and will average around 20mph, which is more than enough to whizz around the crevices of the UK's cities.
Whilst this kit has been tailored to the needs of a delivery driver, it suits anyone looking to go a long way, who doesn't mind some pedalling here and there.
This kit can be paired with another battery mounted on the top tube, to create a bike capable of up to 8 hours of riding! Please do note whilst this is the theoretical limit of the batteries, this amount of riding will strain the motor and other components significantly more. We recommend that for every hour you ride, you should stop for 10 minutes to let the bike cool down and breathe.
This kit is the closest we offer to a legal electric bike, which if you do not plug in the throttle it is completely legal in the UK to ride without a license or registration. This controller also comes with a legal switch wire, which will restrict the bike to 15.5mph without the need of messing around with the screen settings.
Important - The dimensions of the triangle battery are as follows: 360mm top tube side, 235mm seat tube side, 400mm diagonal/downtube side. Please ensure this will fit in your bike frame before buying, allowing a 20mm clearance. If you need any help, just reach out to us and we will be more than happy to offer any support you need.
